Glow Region Solid Waste

The GLOW Region Solid Waste Management Committee is a collaborative effort between Genesee, Livingston, and Wyoming counties, formed in 1987 to develop strategies for the management of solid waste in the region. Our purpose is to provide a comprehensive approach to waste management, promoting a hierarchy of preferred methods, including reducing waste generation, reusing materials, recycling, recovering energy, and landfilling as a last resort.

Located in the heart of Western New York, our committee works to improve waste management practices in the region, providing services and programs to residents, businesses, government agencies, and farmers. Our mission is to reduce the environmental impact of waste disposal, promote sustainable practices, and educate the community on the importance of proper waste management.

Our Services
