At our organization, we are dedicated to providing our community with a responsible and convenient way to dispose of their household hazardous waste, as well as other recyclable materials. Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed to handle a wide range of items, from electronics and appliances to tires and foam products.
Our team members are trained professionals who are committed to making the disposal process as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Services
We offer a variety of services to make recycling and disposal easy and convenient for our community. Our collection facilities are open on designated days and times, and our team members are available to accept a wide range of materials, including:
- Household Hazardous Waste (HHW): Batteries, cleaners, pesticides, and other hazardous materials that are commonly found in homes.
- Electronics: Computers, phones, televisions, and other electronic devices that contain toxic materials.
- Appliances: Refrigerators, air conditioners, and other household appliances that contain hazardous materials or waste.
- Foam Products: Packing foam, Styrofoam, and other foam products that are not accepted by curbside recycling programs.
- Tires: Passenger tires, truck tires, and bike tires that are no longer in use.
- Scrap Metal: Metal recyclables such as aluminum, steel, and copper that can be reused or recycled.
- Green Waste: Leaves, branches, and other yard waste that can be composted or reused.
- Paper and Cardboard: Newspaper, cardboard, and other paper products that can be recycled.
- Other Recyclables: Batteries, fluorescent lights, and other materials that are not accepted by curbside recycling programs.
Locations and Hours
We have two collection facilities located in Trumbull and Geauga County, making it convenient for our community to participate in our programs. Our facilities are open on designated days and times, and our team members are available to answer questions and provide assistance.
- Trumbull County Collection Facility: 5138 Enterprise Blvd, Warren, OH 44481
+ Open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the summer months (May-October). Hours are 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
+ Accepting household hazardous waste, electronics, appliances, and foam products on Wednesday.
- Geauga County Collection Facility: 12685 Merritt Rd, Chardon, OH 44024
+ Open on Thursdays and Fridays during the summer months (May-October). Hours are 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
+ Accepting household hazardous waste, electronics, appliances, and foam products on Friday.
Education and Outreach
